GRM Foundation is a Bangladesh-based non-profit dedicated to inclusive, resilient and sustainable communities — since 2018.
ABOUT GRM FOUNDATION
GRM Foundation believes that sustainable development begins where vulnerable communities live, adapt, and strive. What started in 2018 as a passionate, volunteer-led movement across Bangladesh has today evolved into a fully registered, institutionally governed non-profit organization (NGO).
For over 8 years, our field teams and community networks have worked hand-in-hand with underserved families, caregivers, and local leaders. In 2026, we formalized this rich experience to create a transparent, agile, and high-impact platform—designed specifically to collaborate with global donors, UN agencies, international INGOs, and civil society partners.
OUR CORE IDENTITY
Our Mission
To empower marginalized communities by building locally-led climate adaptation pathways, creating sustainable livelihoods, fostering disability inclusion, and providing accessible psychosocial support.
Our Vision
A resilient and inclusive Bangladesh where every individual, caregiver, and community member lives with dignity, health, climate security, and self-reliance.
Our Promise
To be accountable to the communities we serve, transparent with our partners, and honest about what works — and what doesn’t.
The principles behind every project
Integrity
We hold ourselves accountable to the communities we serve — first, and always.
Inclusion
We center persons with disabilities, women, and marginalized groups in every decision.
Accountability
Transparent finances, open reporting and independent audits every year.
Respect
We work with dignity — never for the community, always with the community.
Partnership
We believe change happens through coalitions, not solo actors.
Evidence
Every program is grounded in data, learning and independent evaluation.
WHY PARTNER WITH US?
We bridge the critical gap between deep community trust and institutional donor compliance.
❖ Footprint Across 64 Districts: Deep-rooted networks in climate-vulnerable coastal belts, flood-prone regions, and underserved urban centers.
❖ Co-Design & Co-Funding Readiness: Our strategic pipelines are built to align directly with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and international development mandates.
❖ Integrated 4-Pathway Model: We don’t work in silos—our climate action, livelihood models, disability rights, and MHPSS programs reinforce one another for maximum ROI (Return on Investment) in human lives.
OUR FOUR STRATEGIC PATHWAYS
| Pathway | Strategic Focus | SDG Alignment |
|---|---|---|
| 🌍 Climate Change | Locally-led adaptation, nature-based solutions, clean energy, and WASH in high-risk zones. |
|
| 💼 Sustainable Livelihoods | Market-driven skills, micro-enterprise development, ultra-poor graduation pathways, and agriculture. |
|
| ♿ Disability Inclusion | Inclusive education, assistive devices, universal accessibility design, and policy advocacy. |
|
| 🧠 Mental Health & Psychosocial Wellbeing | Specialized caregiver burnout support, community mental health first aid, and tele-counseling. |

We believe sustainable development begins where vulnerable communities live, adapt, and strive. Our journey from a volunteer movement to a fully governed NGO is driven by one core mission: to build climate change, empower livelihoods, and foster inclusive, holistic wellbeing across Bangladesh. Together, we are turning vision into lasting impact."
